Jeff Moore
Co-Owner and Director of Music
Jeff Moore is the co-founder of Peak Music Studios and the creative force behind its training approach. As a Berklee-educated Master Guitarist and Master Certified Voice Instructor through The Vocalist Studio, Jeff brings a high level of technical expertise and a deeply developed approach to teaching to his work as an educator and performer.
He is also the creator and artistic director of Dark Ballet, a performance project that brings together live music, movement, and storytelling in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment. His work as a composer and performer directly informs how students are trained, connecting technical development to real artistic application.
At Peak, Jeff works with students to build strong musical foundations while guiding them toward confidence, creativity, and performance.
Jillian Ruddy
Co-Owner and Director of Dance
Jillian Ruddy brings decades of experience in dance training, performance, and program development. She has worked with dancers across a wide range of styles and levels, building programs that emphasize both strong technique and a positive, supportive environment.
As Director of Dance, Jillian leads the development of Peak’s dance programs, including both recreational and competitive training. She is committed to creating a culture where dancers are welcomed, challenged, and supported as they grow.
Her approach balances high expectations with genuine care, helping dancers build confidence, discipline, and a strong sense of belonging within the studio.
Crystal Moore
Co-Owner and Senior Music Instructor
Crystal Moore is the co-founder of Peak Music Studios and a senior music instructor who helps students build confidence, coordination, musicianship, and a clear understanding of how to improve. She holds a professional certificate in bass from Berklee College of Music and brings both musical and pedagogical depth to her work with students, drawing on her experience as both an educator and performing musician.
She is highly skilled at breaking down complex skills and adapting instruction to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. Her background in social work informs her supportive, student-centered approach, creating an environment where students of all backgrounds are seen, valued, and supported in their growth as musicians.
She is also a performer and collaborator in Dark Ballet, contributing as a bassist and vocalist. At Peak, she plays a central role in shaping the student experience and supporting long-term growth.
Marin Lomen
Creative Director of Dance
Marin Lomen began her movement training as an elite-level gymnast before transitioning into dance at the age of 11. During her early training, she worked with prominent choreographers including Al Blackstone, Katie Drablos, Alex Nordin, and James Kinney.
She continued her education at the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2019. After returning to the Capital Region, Marin began teaching and choreographing for multiple studios throughout the area.
As Creative Director of Dance at Peak Music and Dance, Marin helps shape the artistic vision of the dance department through choreography, performance development, and collaborative productions. Her work emphasizes strong technique, artistic expression, and meaningful performance experiences for dancers at all levels.
